Module 01: Cloud concepts
In this first module, we will explore the foundations of cloud computing. We will begin by defining what cloud computing is and examine the different cloud models available. Then, we will delve into cloud service types, detailing the differences and use cases of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Module 02: Azure Architecture and Services
The second module focuses on Azure’s architecture and core services. We will first examine Azure’s fundamental architectural components, including regions and availability zones. We will then explore compute and networking services, covering different compute types, application hosting options, and virtual network concepts. The storage section will introduce you to Azure storage services. Finally, we will address identity, access, and security by exploring directory services and essential security models.
Module 03: Management and Governance
The final module is dedicated to practical aspects of Azure management and governance. We will begin with cost management, exploring cost management tools and tag usage. We will then examine governance and compliance, focusing on Azure Policy and Purview. To conclude, we will discover various resource deployment tools, including the Azure portal, PowerShell, CLI and others, as well as Azure Resource Manager functionality.
